The Little Paris Kitchen

Penguin commissioned me to create the title lettering for celebrity chef Rachel Khoo’s debut book of recipes. Rachel’s cooking is heavily inspired by her adopted Parisian home and fuses the best of French cooking with the best of British, producing some truly wonderful dishes which she serves from her home – the self styled ‘smallest restaurant in Paris’.

I created several approaches based on vintage signage and we distilled the ideas down to the final badged approach seen on the final cover. So far the book has been a phenomenal success and has demanded multiple reprints since it’s release.
